Student came to the reception and passes Sonya a photocopied passport page.

Sonya: um, I can’t accept this. It’s not an original copy of your passport.

Student: but, it’s me!

Sonya: I know it’s you, but I need to see the original copy of your passport so I can verify it.

Student: but, it’s me! You can see I am the same person as the one in the photo.

Sonya: …are you joking me.
